Into the station, the trains to and froing 

From places to places, from southward and north

From eastward and westward, backwards and forth 

Into the station the passengers pass

Up the long platform and into first class

Coffees in hand and cases behind

Heading for cities and life's daily grind

Riding up escalators, squeezing in lifts

Hands holding carriers, handbags or gifts

Shunted down stairwells, taking the strain

Rushing by quickly and travelling on trains
