Put on a sad song and set about crying
Lie back, breathe slowly, then contemplate dying
Allow the bad memories to wash over you
And think of the people, lost in time, you once knew
Then think about a bright day, when lifetime was good
Think about battles won and enemies you withstood
Turn your back on self-pity, don’t allow yourself to mourn
Think of life from this day forth and how lucky you were born.
